Our Story
Cactus World is a family owned and operated company in Las Vegas, Nevada. The owner, Steve Tidwell would have never guessed that his passion and love for plants would continue to grow 40 years later. While Cactus World specializes in desirable cacti & succulents, they also provide a variety of plants that are native to the Mojave Desert. More notable and unique to this nursery are the Joshua Tree, Red Barrel Cactus, and the Mojave Yucca while many others are offered and may be further inquired about.
At Cactus World, we are passionate about cacti because they are not only beautiful and unique, but they are also well-suited to the arid and desert climates that are prevalent in many parts of the world. As water resources become increasingly scarce, we believe that promoting the use of drought-tolerant plants like cacti is an important step in conserving water and reducing the environmental impact of landscaping and gardening.
We also recognize that many people want to enjoy the beauty of plants but are limited by water restrictions and other environmental factors. Cacti are a perfect solution for these situations, as they require very little water and maintenance, making them an ideal choice for people who want to enjoy plants without worrying about excessive water use.
Our mission at Cactus World is to provide our customers with a wide selection of cacti that are not only beautiful but also well-suited to their specific needs and environment. We believe that by offering a diverse range of cacti, we can help people to create unique and stunning landscapes that are also environmentally friendly and sustainable.
We are committed to educating our customers about the benefits of cacti and promoting their use in landscaping and gardening. We offer a wealth of information about how to care for and grow cacti, as well as tips and advice on xeriscaping and low-water gardening techniques.
At Cactus World, we are dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality cacti and exceptional customer service. We believe that by working together to promote the use of drought-tolerant plants like cacti, we can make a positive impact on the environment and create beautiful, sustainable landscapes that will be enjoyed for years to come.
